Gianni was born and raised in Rome, Italy, he received a M.F.A in Cinematography at the renowned film school – Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia – under the direction of Cinematographer Giuseppe Rotunno.
Gianni’s work garnered several awards, including a nomination for the Festival of Cinematography Camerimage 2000. In the same year he was also awarded with a scholarship for the prestigious DOP International Master Class in Budapest. The course was led by Cinematographers Vilmos Zsigmond and Laszo Kovacs.
He has attended numerous international courses with cinematographers Vittorio Storaro, Phedon Papamichael, Billy Williams, Janusz Kaminski.
Over the years Gianni has shot almost everything from feature films – period and contemporary, commercials, TV shows – both scripted and non-scripted, documentary and music video.

Aliki Stamatina Vouyouklaki(also written as Vuyuklaki or Vougiouklaki) was born in Maroussi, Greece, in 1933 (or 1934, according to some sources). She had two brothers, film director Takis Vouyouklakis, and architect Antonis Vouyouklakis. Her father was killed by German troops during World War II.
She studied at the teaterpjäs School of the Greek National Theater and she started to act while still a student. Aliki made her stage debut in a 1953 Athens production of Molière's Le malade imaginaire(The Imaginary Patient).

Born in July 20, 1934 in Maroussi, Attica. Her father, John, was a lawyer and region leader of Arcadia. Pneumonia that she suffered few days after her birth, urged her parents to baptize her immediately. The name: Aliki – Stamatina.
Her difficult childhood was overshadowed by the murder of her father during the German occupation. Her mother, Emilia Koumoundourou, was then asked to grow up Aliki and her two siblings, Antonis and Takis, alone. From early ages, Aliki’s idols were Mary Pickford and Greta Garbo.
In 1952 she began her studies at the Drama School of the National Theater, having previously won the entrance examination, in which she participated without informing her family. In the second year of her studies at the National Theater she made her debut on the stage. Between 1953 and 1954, Aliki Vougiouklaki participates in Moliere’s ‘’The Imaginary Invalid’’, which was performed at the Municipal Theater of Pireaus, having the role of Louiza, the little da
