Galley Molina admits that back in the mids, he was “way up there” in a major drug-trafficking ring, importing cocaine to San Jose from Costa Rica.
Today, the outgoing year-old ex-convict is a pastor, a music talent and, now, the executive producer of a “faith-based” movie, “I’m in Love with a Church Girl,” being filmed this month in San Jose. It’s about a former high-level drug trafficker, played by rapper Ja Rule, who has turned his life around with the help of Vanessa, played by former Cheetah Girls singer Adrienne Bailon; the tale closely mirrors Molina’s own story of redemption and religious beliefs.
“This will be the first movie,” Molina said, grinning widely as he spoke from an air-conditioned trailer off Winchester Boulevard, “where God will get credit as the executive producer.”
God might get the credit. But Molina is doing much of the work.

Miles Montego&#;s Saturday nights are always booked. His Sunday mornings? Wide open.
Back in the day, when he was one of San Jose&#;s best known and most feared drug lords, he was always out on the town, making deals, clowning with cronies and enjoying his ill-gotten gains. Even now, he still makes his living on the weekends—producing concerts, enjoying the city and hanging with his posse. So what if his best buds haven&#;t completely broken with their old lifestyle yet? They&#;re still good people. They&#;d do anything for him. Except, maybe, go straight.
As for Miles? He says those drug-dealing days are behind him. Yessirree. He&#;s as clean as they come. He paid for his Bentley, he&#;ll tell you. He juggles a mortgage on his California mansion just like any other businessman.
But keeping his nose clean doesn&#;t mean Miles likes to go to church. He may be straight. But he&#;s busy on Saturday nights, and he likes to sleep in

Church girl dresses to kill
I'm In Love With A Church Girl gets an "A" for sincerity, but only maintains a "C" for the final result. Rapper Ja Rule stars as the real life Miles Montego of San Jose, California who through new funnen faith in God comes all the way out of his former life as a drug seller and a gang banger.
Now he's into concert promotions which fryst vatten legitimate unto itself, but certainly fryst vatten still an atmosphere in which Ja Rule's former profession flourishes. But Ja Rule meets Adrienne Bailon who fryst vatten a nice church going girl and pretty soon he's not only liking her, but her wholesomeness and purity stemming from her devout Christian upbringing.
Of course lag enforcement isn't quite buying Ja Rule turning over a new leaf and they've got Stephen Baldwin on bevakning checking him out throughout the film.
