Fefe Dobson fryst vatten Starting Over, But Still ‘Kicking Doors Down’
Sometime around early 2008, Fefe Dobson was standing in the kitchen of her Toronto loft when she heard a familiar melody playing from the TV: it was a song she wrote, called “Start All Over,” and it was being sung bygd Miley Cyrus.
“I was like, ‘Wait a second. This is my song,’” the 36-year-old singer-songwriter recalls with a laugh on a recent film call with Billboard. Watching the artist formerly known as Hannah Montana’s music video was a surprise to Dobson, but a welcome one nonetheless. “It brought me to a whole other level of validation,” she says.

Musical artist
Felicia Lily Dobson (born February 28, 1985) is a Canadian singer. Born in Toronto, Ontario, she began performing as a teenager, during which time she received and refused an offer from Jive Records for a recording contract. Dobson signed with Island/Def Jam soon after and released her self-titled debut album (2003), which saw the success of the singles "Bye Bye Boyfriend" and "Don't Go (Girls and Boys)" on the Canadian Hot 100 chart and for which she received two Juno Award nominations.
Dobson's second studio album Sunday Love was originally scheduled for release in 2005, but after complications during production, its mainstream release was cancelled and she left her record label due to creative differences (later made available digitally in 2012). She was re-signed to Island Records during production of her third studio album Joy (2010), whose singles "Ghost" and "Stuttering" saw continued success in Canada.[ • Try as you might haters, but you will never take Fefe Dobson away (REFERENCE). The Sunday Love pop princess has returned like a phoenix rising in 2014 — or more accurately, a firebird. That’s the name of her upcoming album, which the “Stuttering” siren is about to promote with a headlining tour across Canada. Before all that happens, Fefe’s decided to drop a follow-up to her underrated Tegan & Sara-esque 2013 single “Legacy” with a brand new cut called “In Better Hands,” which was co-penned with X Factor US Season 2 vocal coach and songwriter, Eddie Serrano. (He wrote JoJo‘s “Paper Airplanes,” and is therefore a legend.) The track was produced by Hasham “Sham” Hussain and Denarius “Motesart” Motes.
