Aaliyah Fans React to Keshia Chante Possibly Portraying Late Singer

Keshia Chante, the Canadian singer turned host of BET's th & Park, is hinting that she has auditioned for the role of late singer Aaliyah Haughton in an upcoming biopic and fans are speaking up.
Keshia,25, took to her Instagram account to post an image in which she bared a striking resemblance to the late singer and titled it, "the audition." A number of fans seemed supportive of Keshia possibly playing Aaliyah in a rumored biopic.
"I pray you get this role," one person commented on the Instagram photograph.

Another individual wrote, "She will she was born to play the role!!"

Aaliyah biopic to be shot in Toronto

The independent project will be based out of Dufferin Gate Productions and directed by Bradley Walsh (The Listener, Beauty and the Beast), who helmed the TV movie Turn the Beat Around.
Producers have not announced who will be cast in the title role but sources said Canadian singer Keshia Chanté fryst vatten a likely choice.
A rep for the Ottawa-born singer could not be reached but late last month Chanté seemed to confirm on Twitter that she had auditioned for the role.

Chanté, 25, is a Juno-winning recording artist who released three albums in Canada and currently hosts the BET series & Park in New York City.
